Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the computer, there he is, Dick Cheney, blithering on about Obama being “the worst president the country has ever had!” I think it’s safe to say history will prove that statement false.
Once again, Dick entertains us with his stunning projection and denial that is a medical textbook case study in projection and denial. The father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud first coined the word “projection” to identify the mental aberration “that thoughts, motivations, desires, and feelings that cannot be accepted as one's own are dealt with by being placed in the outside world and attributed to someone else. What the ego repudiates is split off and placed in another.”
Plainly spoken, all the horrors that Dick accuses Barack Obama of committing, Dick himself is guilty of. In “Dick World” Obama is destabilizing the Middle East, weakening our global status and generally guilty of treason. That is one for that medical textbook on projection. Dick told a radio audience, “If you had somebody as president who wanted to take America down it would look exactly like what Barack Obama’s doing.”
As NY Times columnist, Nicholas Kristof said, “By that logic, Cheney himself is a sleeper Iranian agent. Cheney helped oust Iran’s enemy to the east, the Taliban in Afghanistan, and then replaced Iran’s enemy to the west, Saddam Hussein, with a pro-Iranian regime.” See what I mean about Dick’s mental illness?
While Dick was acting president for eight years Iran’s nuclear program took off from just a few dozen centrifuges to many thousands and let’s not forget all the friends he made torturing prisoners and the deaths of a half million Iraqis.
My theory on this whole projection thing is that Dick is nearing the end of the line on this mortal coil and he is unable to accept his legacy, hence the projection onto the current occupant of the White House. A mentally ill, big talking, draft dodging coward like Dick can only point the finger of blame and is incapable of honest contrition.

White Privilege
I was checking out my Facebook feed and came across a photo/meme of a young white woman holding a sign that read, “Even White People Are Sick of Other White People’s Racist Bullsh*t”. I immediately concurred. Many voiced their feelings on the subject, both white and black. One response from a white woman in particular caught my attention. She agreed that she was over white folk’s racism, but added another complaint. “Seriously am, and further more....I sure would like to know what happened to MY portion of the "White Privilege" I was SUPPOSED to receive that everyone is talking about......Cuz as far as I'm concer
OIL
The ongoing protest of the Bakken Oilfield pipeline by Native Americans in North Dakota is especially significant and highlights much of what is wrong with our fossil fuel dominated energy policy; wrong as in the House and Senate’s unwavering servitude to the interests of Big Fossil Fuel to the detriment of the people and the environment. The Standing Rock Sioux Indians are rightly concerned with this pipeline so close to their land rupturing and poisoning their water supply. Oil pipelines have a documented history of spills, leaks and explosions a mile long*, but Big Oil unabashedly insists otherwise. The protest has been joined by ma
Where Do We Go From Here?
I made a pact with my self that I would reserve judgement on the POTUS candidates until after the primary. The primary is long over, but confusion still reigns. Questionable behavior by the DNC and it’s now-disgraced leadership by Debbie-Wasserman Schultz has left a stink on Hillary Clinton’s legitimacy. Bernie Sanders graciously acquiesced to the supremacy of the Clinton machine and urged his supporters to throw in with his, here-to-fore, political nemesis. It made me think back to when Al Gore acquiesced to the Supreme’s selection of Bush over Gore when Gore was the presumptive legitimate election winner. Makes one ponde
Thoughts on Hillary Clinton
Because I express my views, I must expect opposing views. That is only natural. For most ideas and thoughts, there are counter ideas and thoughts, however, when I express my thoughts on Hillary Clinton I am confronted with a whole array of copy and paste presumptive reactions. “You are a sexist!” “You are in a boys club!” “Why don’t you just say it, you hate Hillary Clinton.” How to respond to that? First of all, I reserve “hate” for the deserving, not someone like Hillary. Hating Hillary makes as much sense as “hating” a shark. Both are the culmination/end product of millions

Bill Kristol suggested recently that Cheney would be a good presidential candidate in 2016.... All these people live in an alternate reality. Sadly, it has massive negative impact on OUR reality. And the consequences never feed back into theirs. It's like there are one-way evil pumps from their world into ours.
